London, New York and Hollywood take center stage with the regional premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tell Me on a Sunday (Act I of the Tony®-award winning Song and Dance). A young British woman moves to New York City in search of adventure, romance and love. Her journey is told through introspective musical monologues and letters home to England.
Trial by Jury, Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic send-up of the legal system run amok, hasn’t been seen in Springfield for 40 years. A “breach of promise to marry” is brought to court by the Plaintiff in this comic gem, Gilbert and Sullivan’s first big hit on the London stage.

Seville, Spain is the setting for SRO’s spring opera, Carmen. The beautiful and fiery gypsy returns to win the love of Don Jose, an inexperienced corporal, and then turns to the bullfighter, Escamillo, in Bizet’s adored tale of tempestuous love, mutiny and murder.
